Ulfhednars were like the Berserker, but were more Wolf than Bear. They wore the wolf fur, bit their shields before battle, fought in groups, fought like wolves, and, like the Berserker, were Odin's Special Forces Warriors. The Berserker fought by themselves, and kept to themselves, they didn't intermingle with each other. They saw the Wolf as sacred, didn't kill/hunt it, only took furs of wolves that died a natural death. Both the Berserker and Ulfhednar had superior strength, and were thought to be possessed by the spirit of the wolf/bear.

Ulfhednar, a Special Forces Warrior of Odin, (other is the Berserker), that possessed the spirit of the Wolf, of whose fur they wore. They bit their shields before battle, and acted like wild dogs/wolves in battle. They fought in groups, in a crazed trance. They didn't wear chain mail armor & or did they really have any weapons. . fire nor iron could hurt or stop them.
